We have just been informed by the Transportation Department that Mrs. Jan Jorven will only be doing “One Run” in the morning as well as after school. The start date for this change is Monday October 31st.

Thanks to Troyer, our students and staff were treated to a special presentation by Ryan & Friends … a world famous ventriloquist from the United States. As you can see from the pics, his show was hilarious …

Mrs. Martin’s grade 5/6 class was hard at work last week building Willow Chairs for a community fundraising project. A huge thanks goes out to all those parents who helped throughout the day. Stay tuned for more information on how you could win one of the awesome chairs!!

Once again, our students, staff and parents stepped up and did an amazing job promoting Terry Fox Week. In just over 4 days, we raised almost $700!!!

HALLOWEEN CARNIVAL MEETING
It’s that time of year again to start planning this year’s Halloween Carnival. The Carnival will be held on Friday, October 28, 2011.

Soccer season is coming to an end this weekend as our two teams participate in the year end tournament this Saturday October 1st. Our “A” team is playing at Alwin Holland and our “B” team will be playing at Bert Ambrose.

A huge thanks to Mrs. Kantz, Mrs. Cooper and especially Mrs. Cushway for inviting me along to join the primary classes on their Nature Walk at Mrs. Cushway’s property. The kids had a blast during the walk and were also treated to a demo of Mrs.
