We would like to thank Mr. Stephen Petrucci and his crew from Ecole Central Elementary for the presentation they did for our grade 5 students on the Late French Immersion Program, which starts in grade 6 at Ecole Central.

Congratulations to our very own grade 5 student, Erica Thomas Schulenburg (blue hat), for being selected as a community Difference Maker as part of the Rick Hansen 25th Anniversary celebrations. Erica is an incredible young lady who has helped bring awareness to those with physical disabilities by sharing her own story throughout her tour of the school district …

We would like to extend a huge thank-you to Katie and the Big Brothers & Sisters group for spending many hours delivering the “GO Girls” program to all of our grade 6 girls. The sessions were not only fun but very informative and will no doubt help our girls maneuver through their social circles as they enter middle school next year.

A little green fun to celebrate St. Patty’s Day! The greenest class will win a very green prize this coming Monday!!

Mrs. Martin’s grade 5/6 class hosted an amazing Multicultural Dinner on Friday March 2nd. Students prepared dishes to share from many different countries. International Students from NPSS accompanied by Mrs. Juanita Esau were welcomed as special guests for the dinner.

Mrs. Kowalsky invited her students’ parents in to share some snacks and afternoon tea while she handed out her Science Fair Project Awards … thanks to all those who were able to attend!
