We would like to recognize Mrs. Martin and her grade 5/6 students for coming together and helping to support our local Salvation Army. The students organized a Willow Chair raffle where they donated half of the money to the Salvation Army along with all the food items that were collected at the school. They then spent a full day at the Salvation Army learning all about how they help so many people in need within our very own community. This was a very powerful learning experience and the student’s even helped stock shelves and organize clothing. This is really what Christmas is all about!
