A FEW UPDATES

We had an exciting “Read & Feed” day this past Friday to celebrate Family Literacy Day. The students and staff enjoyed hanging out in their pj’s and there were lots of great finds at the recycled book fair.

As Family Literacy Day approaches, we are looking for “book donations” so that we can host a Recycled Book Fair for our students. This was a huge hit last year so we are hopeful we will have the supply to offer this again this year!

We would like to thank our Blackbird house team for coming up with the theme “Opposite Day”. Many students and staff had fun dressing up for the day!

Congratulations to all of our intermediate students for doing such a great job throughout term one! Still lots of great learning opportunities to come … keep up the strong effort!!

Our student’s always love it when the Taylor Fire Department crew comes to visit! They presented a number of awards and showed some school spirit by sporting last minute moustache’s to go along with our theme day.
